Scylla and charybdis (hydra)
Our ninth stop is Scylla and Charybdis, otherwise known as the island of Hydra. Hydra is a island on the north eastern side of Greece. It's population is 1,966. It's elevation is 26 m. It's Industry is Sponges. Hydra is a very interesting island. Hydra doesn't allow motorbikes or cars to be driven on the island. All you could do is walk. This island also has a lot of artists living their, so they have a lot of beautiful sculptures and paintings their. In Odysseus's journey, Odysseus sails near two monsters. He could either sail near Charybdis, who would eat all of them and destroy his ship, or he could sail through Scylla, the six headed monster, who would eat six men and leave them alone. Odysseus has to pick Scylla, and he losses six men. So, the island Hydra is a awesome place to visit. Enjoy the walks!
